Interlake Tear Drop Pallet Rack beams are constructed from high-strength 15-gauge steel and feature dimensions of 2-3/4"W x 1-1/2" step beams, which are designed to accommodate cross bars and decking. The interlock stud and keyhole connection provide an automatic locking mechanism into the column, while a piston lock secures the beam in place. To select the appropriate load beam, it is necessary to determine the desired length by adding a minimum of 10" to two pallet widths or 14" to three pallet widths; additional spacing may be required for pallets with excessive load overhang. It is essential to ensure that each pair of beams is capable of supporting the weight of the pallets per level. The beams are sold in pairs, and the price is per pair.
