The Interlake Tear Drop pallet rack beams are constructed from high-strength 15-gauge steel, featuring dimensions of 2-3/4"W x 1-1/2" for the step beams, which are designed to accommodate cross bars and decking. The beams utilize an interlock stud and keyhole connection that automatically locks into the column, while a piston lock secures the beam in place for added stability. To select the appropriate load beam, it is recommended to determine the desired length by adding a minimum of 10" to the widths of two pallets or 14" to the widths of three pallets, with additional spacing possibly required for pallets with excessive load overhang. It is crucial to ensure that each pair of beams can support the weight of the pallets per level. The beams are sold in pairs, with pricing applicable per pair.
