The Interlake Mecalux Tear Drop Pallet Rack Beams are designed as the horizontal components of the pallet rack system, crafted from a single roll-formed piece of 16 ga steel with a continuous seam weld at the base. Each load level consists of two beams, positioned at each post of the frame, compatible with both Interlake Mecalux Tear Drop bolted and welded upright pallet rack frames. Key features include welded end plates that slot into the Tear Drop upright frame, safety sprung loaded locking devices that secure the beams in place, and a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks, preventing accidental beam displacement. The dimensions of the beams are 2-3/4" W x 1-5/8", accommodating cross bars and decking. These beams are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI). To select the appropriate load beam length, add a minimum of 10" to two pallet widths or 14" to three pallet widths, ensuring that each pair of beams can support the weight of the pallets per level. The beams are sold in pairs, with the price applicable per pair.
