The Bluff® steel forklift yard ramp provides efficient access for forklifts or pallet trucks to freight in locations without dock bays, allowing for seamless loading and unloading of trucks and trailers. Constructed with all-welded, heavy-duty formed steel cross members and side girders, the ramp features a beveled diamond plate steel approach for a smooth transition and an open serrated steel grating surface that enhances traction while minimizing the accumulation of dirt, rain, and snow. This yard ramp is equipped with a double-action hydraulic lift pump and 18" diameter solid rubber wheels, facilitating quick positioning and raising of the ramp. Safety locking chains are included to secure the ramp to the dock or trailer, and the ramps come with 8"H curbs to prevent trucks and forklifts from slipping off. Measuring 36' in length with a 6' long level-off zone at the top, these ramps ensure safe access from dock to ground or truck to ground. Additionally, the clamp-style design features integral forklift tine insertion points for easy movement over short distances. Bluff® also offers solid steel deck approach plates at both ends of the ramp to enhance durability and provide a smooth transition, unlike many competitors' units that utilize open grating, which can lead to premature ramp failure.
