The Bluff® steel forklift yard ramp is designed to provide easy forklift or pallet truck access to freight within minutes without requiring dock bays. This durable ramp facilitates loading and unloading trucks and trailers in areas without docks, as well as from dock level to the ground. Constructed with all-welded heavy-duty formed steel cross members and side girders, the ramp features a beveled diamond plate steel approach for a smooth transition. The open serrated steel grating ramp surface ensures superior traction while minimizing the build-up of dirt, rain, and snow. It includes a double-action hydraulic lift pump and 18" diameter solid rubber wheels for quick movement and positioning. Safety locking chains secure the ramp to the dock or trailer, and the yard ramps are equipped with 8"H curbs to help keep trucks and forklifts safely on the ramp. Measuring 36' in length, the ramps also provide a 6' long level-off zone at the top for safe access between dock and ground or truck and ground. The tow bar style allows for fast hook-up for easy towing over long distances. Bluff® also offers solid steel deck approach plates at both ends to ensure a smooth transition and longevity for the ramp, contrasting with competitors' units that may use open grating, potentially leading to steering wheel bearing failures.
