The Bluff® Heavy Duty Aluminum Wheel Riser is designed to eliminate unsafe, below dock loading conditions by allowing trailers to be positioned properly above the dock for more efficient loading and reducing damage to loading equipment. Each wheel ramp features cutouts for easy lifting by hand and is engineered to carry 30,000 lbs. when used in pairs, with a 15,000 lb. capacity per riser. The rugged aluminum construction is corrosion resistant, and the ramp includes a non-skid tread surface for enhanced safety. The risers facilitate compliance with OSHA requirements, supporting a maximum grade of 10% for ascending or descending loaded forklifts. Risers are sold individually, with a recommended width of 24" for dual wheels on semi-trailers, which are typically 18" wide. Additionally, for tandem axle applications, an 84" level L should be utilized.
