The Bluff® steel forklift yard ramp provides efficient access for forklifts or pallet trucks to load and unload freight in areas without dock bays. This ramp is designed for both ground-to-truck and dock-to-ground operations. Constructed with all-welded, heavy-duty formed steel cross members and side girders, it boasts a durable frame. The beveled diamond plate steel approach ensures a smooth transition, while the open serrated steel grating surface enhances traction and minimizes debris accumulation from dirt, rain, and snow. The ramp is equipped with a double-action hydraulic lift pump and 18" diameter solid rubber wheels for easy positioning. Safety locking chains secure the ramp to the dock or trailer, and 8"H curbs help keep vehicles on the ramp. The 36'L ramp includes a 6'L level-off zone at the top for safe access, and the tow bar style facilitates quick hook-up for towing over long distances. Additionally, Bluff® offers solid steel deck approach plates at both ends to maximize the ramp's lifespan, distinguishing it from competitors that use open grating which can lead to wear and failure.
