The Bluff® premium steel wheel riser is designed to reduce damage to dock loading equipment and serves as an economical solution for leveling docks that are consistently too high for trucks. The ramps facilitate compliance with OSHA requirements, maintaining a maximum grade of 10% for ascending or descending loaded forklifts. Each wheel riser features four tabs with 9/16" diameter holes, allowing for permanent anchoring. Constructed from durable welded steel, the ramps come equipped with a treadplate non-skid safety traction surface. Risers are sold individually, with a capacity of 20,000 lbs. per riser, or 40,000 lbs. per pair. For optimal use with dual wheels on semi-trailers, which are 18" wide, the recommended wheel riser width is 24". For single axle applications, a 30" level L" is advised.
