The Bluff® steel forklift yard ramp is designed to facilitate easy forklift or pallet truck access to freight within minutes, eliminating the need for dock bays. It helps load and unload trucks and trailers in areas without docks, providing a smooth transition from ground to truck and from dock level to ground. This yard ramp features an all-welded, heavy-duty formed steel frame with beveled diamond plate steel approach for added safety. The ramp’s open serrated steel grating surface ensures superior traction while minimizing the accumulation of dirt, rain, and snow. A double-action hydraulic lift pump and 18" diameter solid rubber wheels enable quick positioning and adjustment of the ramp. Safety locking chains are included to secure the ramp to the dock or trailer, while 8"H curbs aid in keeping trucks and forklifts on the ramp. The 36' long ramp boasts a 6' long level-off zone at the top, ensuring secure access from the dock to the ground or truck to ground. Additionally, the ramp features integral forklift tine insertion points for easy movement over short distances. Bluff® also offers an option for solid steel deck approach plates at both ends, promoting maximum longevity compared to competitors that utilize open grating, which can lead to structural failures.
