The Wizard® Wiz-Kid® manual drum opener is equipped with a standard cutting wheel and features a ratchet-powered deheader designed for opening steel drums in areas without power. This tool is faster and easier to use than conventional drum deheaders, providing great value for applications in remote locations or low drum volume situations. The adjustable 18" ratchet allows for left or right-hand operation and utilizes mechanical advantages to reduce operator effort and minimize the risk of back strain. The opener cuts on the inside of the rolled edge, resulting in a safe, burr-free edge and a strong chime for future reuse of the drum. It is suitable for nearly all industrial applications, clearing all bungs, and effectively removing the tops and bottoms of all 30 and 55-gallon 16 gauge steel drums. Key specifications include a cutting wheel diameter of 3.64". Replacement cutter wheel kits are available for maintaining optimal performance.
