The Wizard® Wiz-Kid® Model G Heavy Duty Drum Deheader is a general-purpose tool designed to open drums for utility use or for scrap purposes. This model efficiently cuts along the inside of the drum chime, resulting in a smooth, burr-free edge that ensures safe handling of the drums. It is ideal for deheading a high-to-moderate volume of filled and empty industrial drums, accommodating sizes from 30 to 55 gallons and up to 16 gauge steel, featuring either flat or round chimes. The 1" diameter cutter wheel operates between the chime and bung fitting as it performs the cutting action. This automatic air-operated deheader is particularly effective for operations involving large quantities of drums. Additionally, it includes a non-ferrous beryllium copper cutting wheel, specifically designed for use with drums that contain hazardous materials.
