The Wizard® Wiz-Kid® Model G Heavy Duty Drum Deheader is a general-purpose deheader designed for opening drums for use as utility containers or for scrap purposes. This model cuts on the inside of the drum chime, resulting in a smooth, burr-free edge for safe handling. It is ideal for deheading a high-to-moderate volume of filled and empty 30 to 55-gallon industrial drums made of up to 16-gauge steel, accommodating both flat and round chimes. The 1" diameter cutter wheel effectively travels between the chime and bung fitting as it operates. This manual air-operated deheader is particularly suited for industrial environments where floors and work areas are wet. The deheader features a non-ferrous beryllium copper cutting wheel, making it safe for use with drums that contain hazardous materials. The kit includes the deheader unit and all necessary components for operation, and it complies with relevant safety and industry standards, ensuring reliable performance.
