The SC Preferred™ low-profile self-dumping forklift hopper is a steel hopper designed to attach easily to a forklift for efficient material handling. Its low-profile design positions the hopper within easy reach, allowing a single operator to dump contents by pulling a 3'L steel chain while seated on the forklift. The balanced hopper tilts to an industry-optimal 90° to ensure complete emptying, with the tilt stopping automatically and the hopper returning to the upright, locked position when lowered to the ground. It features a reinforced and braced formed steel base with precision robotic welds for industrial-grade strength, and has a durable gray enamel finish. The package includes a safety chain to secure the hopper to the forklift, with fork pockets measuring 22"L x 2"H. Leak-proof hoppers are available upon request, and custom colors can be provided with a Sherwin-Williams paint code. OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of the forklift for written approval before using any fork truck attachments.
