The DeWalt 1-3/4 HP fixed base / plunge router combo kit, model DW616PK, features an 11.0 amp motor delivering up to 24,500 RPM, providing the power to rout smoothly through the toughest hardwoods. The kit includes both fixed base and plunge router configurations with a micro-fine depth adjustment ring for precise adjustments in 1/64" increments, adjusting vertically for a constant switch/cordset location. It has an adjustable, tool-free steel motor cam lock for quick and solid depth adjustment and base changes, along with quick-release motor latches for fast motor pack removal during bit and base changes. Dust collection is optimized through an integral, through-the-column system that collects 95% of dust while providing superior bit visibility. The detachable cordset offers serviceability and removes the need for a short cord motor pack. A sub-base concentricity gauge is included to ensure bit concentricity, contributing to best-in-class accuracy.
