These PTFE encapsulated stirbars feature polygon multifaceted surfaces that enhance turbulence compared to similar smooth size cylindrical bars. The design includes a center molded pivot ring that minimizes the contact area between the bar and the vessel, effectively reducing friction and chattering while also decreasing the potential for marring of plastic containers. The stirbars are autoclave safe, making them suitable for use in sterile environments.
