The IKO Cam Follower is a heavy-duty component designed for demanding applications, featuring a full complement of needle rollers, a stud acting inner ring raceway, and a thick-walled outer ring that can withstand heavy rolling or shock loads. With a diameter of 3/4 inch and a width of 1/2 inch, this cam follower has a 7/16 - 20 thread and is available with either a cylindrical or crowned outer ring, the latter of which helps mitigate uneven loads due to deflection, bending, or misalignment during installation. The cam follower incorporates two internal designs: one with a cage for high-speed applications and another featuring a full complement for handling heavy loads. These components serve as follower bearings for cam mechanisms or linear motions and are extensively utilized in machine tools, industrial robots, electronic devices, and office automation equipment, where they provide superior rigidity and accuracy.
