The IKO non-separable yoke type roller follower is a full complement bearing designed for heavy rolling or shock loads, featuring an inner ring, side plates, and a thick-walled outer ring treated with black oxide coating. This roller follower is available with either crowned or cylindrical outer rings; the crowned outer ring effectively relieves edge loads caused by mounting errors, while the cylindrical option is ideal for applications subjected to large loads or low track surface hardness, thanks to its larger contact area with the mating track surface. Proper lubrication is essential between the roller followers and the steel track to prevent seizure and reduce friction, ensuring optimal performance.
