These general purpose disconnect enclosures are designed to accept major brand disconnect switches and circuit breakers and come equipped with options for Hoffman-supplied defeater door handle and handle hardware. The enclosures are constructed from 14 gauge steel with seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth. Key features include a bonding provision on the door, external mounting brackets, an external-formed flange around all sides of the enclosure opening, and a removable door that utilizes a continuous hinge. The data pocket is made of high impact thermoplastic, and the enclosure includes an oil-resistant gasket and collar studs for mounting optional panels. Additionally, there are holes in both the body and door for mounting the operating handle, operating mechanism, and door closing mechanism. These enclosures are available with or without the Hoffman supplied padlocking defeater handle and latching system.
