The kit is designed for disconnect applications where a clamp-secured door is preferred, featuring clamps on three sides to keep liquids and contaminants out. It includes a preferred cutout that accommodates major brand disconnect switches and circuit breakers and is furnished with enclosures. Key attributes include a bracket welded to the door for attaching the disconnect door catch (interlock), with instructions provided for locating and installing disconnect switches, circuit breakers, and operating mechanisms. The enclosure is made from 14 gauge steel with seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth. It has external mounting brackets and an external-formed flange around all sides of the enclosure opening. The stainless steel door clamps secure the door, which is removable and features a continuous hinge. Additional specifications include a data pocket made from high-impact thermoplastic, a Type 4 rated door gasket, collar studs for mounting optional panels, and holes in the body for mounting the disconnect operating handle and mechanisms.
