The Hoffman A84XD3EW18FTCLPG Sequestr™ External Disconnect Package includes a three-door unit with dimensions of 84.12 x 118.75 x 18.12 inches. This package is designed to mitigate arc flash occurrences when working on interior components by isolating incoming power from the main enclosure. It ships as one unit for new installations, with the disconnect switch and fuse block/circuit breaker mounted in the external enclosure, providing terminal connections to bring power to the main enclosure. Key features include an A28X base enclosure, A70D external disconnect enclosure, and use of .060-inch steel for the external disconnect enclosure, while the main control cabinet is constructed from .121-inch steel. The unit features continuously welded and ground seams all around, a body flange trough that excludes liquids and contaminants, heavy-duty lifting eyes anchored into a reinforced top, and removable center posts for easy back panel installation. Notably, there is no disconnect cutout on the main control cabinet.
