The Hoffman A84XM7818FTCLP is a heavy-duty FS disc enclosure designed without a panel, featuring two doors with dimensions of 84.12 x 78.50 x 18.12 inches and a durable paint finish. This disconnect enclosure can be configured with one to six doors to accommodate various applications. It boasts .121-inch steel seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth, with body stiffeners in larger enclosures providing additional rigidity. The design includes a body flange trough to keep liquids and contaminants out, heavy-duty lifting eyes anchored into a reinforced top, and removable centerposts for straightforward panel installation. The enclosure is equipped with concealed, easy-to-remove hinges and a heavy-duty 3-point latching mechanism operated by a padlocking handle on all doors, with latch rod ends featuring rollers for easier door closing. Panel supports include a data pocket made of high-impact thermoplastic and an oil-resistant gasket. The master door is positioned as the far right-hand door on all enclosures, with a defeater on the primary door that requires a screwdriver to open. A mechanical interlock activated by the master door ensures that slave doors cannot be opened first, while doors can be closed in any order. Additionally, a universal cutout on the right flange allows for the mounting of most disconnect operators using operator adapters. The FTC models include removable painted 10-gauge steel panels that mount on collar studs and are supplied with door hardware.
