The Hoffman A72XM2818FTC is a heavy-duty FS disc enclosure featuring a single door and dimensions of 72.12 x 28.25 x 18.12 inches, finished with paint. This cost-effective disconnect enclosure can accommodate one to six doors, making it suitable for various applications. Its construction includes .121-inch steel seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth, with body stiffeners in larger enclosures for added rigidity. The design incorporates a body flange trough that excludes liquids and contaminants, along with heavy-duty lifting eyes anchored into a reinforced top. It features removable centerposts for easy panel installation, concealed hinges that are easy to remove, and a heavy-duty 3-point latching mechanism operated by a padlocking handle on all doors. The latch rods have rollers for easier door closing, and panel supports are included. The data pocket is made of high-impact thermoplastic, and it is equipped with an oil-resistant gasket. The master door is located on the far right-hand side of all enclosures, with a defeater on the primary door that requires a screwdriver to open. A mechanical interlock, activated by the master door, prevents the slave doors from being opened first, allowing doors to be closed in any order. A universal cutout on the right flange provides mounting for most disconnect operators using operator adapters. The FTC models come with removable painted 10 gauge steel panels that mount on collar studs and include door hardware.
