The Hoffman A72XM4018FTCLP is a heavy-duty free-standing disc enclosure without a panel, featuring one door and dimensions of 72.12 x 40.25 x 18.12 inches. This cost-effective disconnect enclosure can be ordered with one to six doors, accommodating a diverse range of applications. It is constructed with .121-inch steel seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth, along with body stiffeners in larger enclosures for added rigidity. The design includes a body flange trough that excludes liquids and contaminants, heavy-duty lifting eyes that anchor into the reinforced top, and removable centerposts for easy panel installation. The enclosure features concealed, easy-to-remove hinges and a heavy-duty 3-point latching mechanism operated by a padlocking handle on all doors. The ends of the latch rods have rollers to facilitate easier door closing, and it includes panel supports alongside a data pocket made from high-impact thermoplastic. An oil-resistant gasket and a master door positioned as the far right-hand door enhance performance. The defeater on the primary door requires a screwdriver to open, while a mechanical interlock, activated by the master door, prevents the opening of slave doors first; doors can be closed in any order. Additionally, a universal cutout on the right flange allows for mounting most disconnect operators using operator adapters. Models are available with panels included or sold separately, and FTC models come with removable painted 10-gauge steel panels that mount on collar studs, along with door hardware.
