The Hoffman A84XM4018FTCG is a heavy-duty FS disconnect enclosure with dimensions of 84.12 x 40.25 x 18.12 inches, finished in gray. This cost-effective enclosure can be ordered with one to six doors to accommodate various applications. It features .121-inch steel seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth, along with body stiffeners in larger enclosures for added rigidity. The body flange trough is designed to exclude liquids and contaminants, and heavy-duty lifting eyes are anchored into the reinforced top. The enclosure includes removable centerposts for easy panel installation, concealed easy-to-remove hinges, and a heavy-duty 3-point latching mechanism operated by a padlocking handle on all doors. The ends of the latch rods are equipped with rollers for easier door closing, and panel supports and a data pocket made of high-impact thermoplastic are also included. An oil-resistant gasket ensures protection, while the master door is positioned as the far right-hand door on all enclosures. The defeater on the primary door requires a screwdriver for opening, and a mechanical interlock activated by the master door prevents the slave doors from being opened first; doors can be closed in any order. A universal cutout on the right flange allows for mounting most disconnect operators using operator adapters. The FTC models feature removable painted 10-gauge steel panels that mount on collar studs, and the kit includes door hardware.
