The Hoffman A84XM4018FTC is a heavy-duty FS disc enclosure featuring a single door and dimensions of 84.12 x 40.25 x 18.12 inches, designed for durability with a paint finish. This disconnect enclosure can be configured with one to six doors, making it versatile for a variety of applications. Key features include .121-inch steel seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth, along with body stiffeners in larger enclosures for increased rigidity. The body flange trough effectively excludes liquids and contaminants, while heavy-duty lifting eyes are anchored into the reinforced top. The enclosure incorporates removable centerposts for straightforward panel installation and concealed hinges for ease of removal. A heavy-duty 3-point latching mechanism is operated by a padlocking handle on all doors, with latch rod ends featuring rollers for easier door closing. The package includes panel supports, a high-impact thermoplastic data pocket, an oil-resistant gasket, and a master door located on the far right-hand side of the enclosure. Additionally, the defeater on the primary door requires a screwdriver to open, and a mechanical interlock activated by the master door prevents the slave doors from being opened first. Doors can be closed in any order, and a universal cutout on the right flange allows for the mounting of most disconnect operators using operator adapters. FTC models come equipped with removable painted 10 gauge steel panels that mount on collar studs and include necessary door hardware.
