The Advantage Standard Duty Steel Zinc Plated Wire Rope Thimble is designed for a 5/16" diameter wire rope. The method of application involves turning back a specified amount of rope from the thimble, applying the first clip one base width from the dead end of the wire rope, and positioning the next clip as close to the logo as possible without tightening the nuts initially. Additional clips should be spaced equally between the first two clips, after which the rope slack is taken up, and all nuts on the clips should be tightened evenly.
