The Idem 201005HF KLP Guard Locking Switch-HF Act (STD Release), operating at 110V and featuring a 1/2NPT connection with PE, is designed for robust position interlock detection for moving guards and includes a lock mechanism that keeps the guard closed until the hazard is removed. These tongue-operated switches are intended for installation on the leading edge of sliding or hinged machine guards, providing positively operated switching contacts and a tamper-resistant key mechanism that is not easily defeatable. The switches can be used independently to deliver positively operated contacts in accordance with EN60947-5-1 or in conjunction with dual channel safety monitoring relays to achieve up to PLe category 4 per ISO13849-1 or SIL3 as per EN62061.
