The Idem 202005HF-SS KLM guard locking switch is designed for robust position interlock detection in moving guards, featuring a high-frequency actuation (STD release) and operates at 110V with a 1/2NPT stainless steel head. This tongue-operated switch is crafted to fit the leading edge of sliding or hinged machine guards, ensuring positively operated switching contacts and a tamper-resistant key mechanism. It can function independently with positively operated contacts to EN60947-5-1 or in conjunction with dual channel safety monitoring relays, achieving up to PLe category 4 per ISO13849-1 or SIL3 according to EN62061. The switch is available in various materials and housing styles, offering flexibility for different applications. Key features include 8 actuator entry positions with a rotatable head, 2 lock monitoring safety contacts, a high holding force of 2000N, and LED diagnostics indicating solenoid power and guard lock status.
