All IDEM coded non-contact safety switches are designed to conform to EN60947-5-3 and are intended for use as specified by ISO12100, ISO14121, and EN60204-1. These switches feature coded magnetic sensing, which allows for a wide sensing distance of up to 14mm and a high tolerance to misalignment after sensing. They are suitable for installation behind stainless steel fittings and can operate from four directions, even in extreme temperature and moisture environments. When combined with most dual channel safety monitoring relays, they can achieve up to PLe/category 4 compliance per ISO13849-1. The switches are available in high specification plastic or stainless steel 316 and include dual channel electronic safety output with 2NC (1NO auxiliary optional), visual LED indication of switch status, and an enclosure rated for protection to IP67 or IP69K, making them wash down suitable. They have no moving parts, ensuring high reliability and long life, and conform to EN60947-5-3 PDF-S, while featuring a European industry standard fitting. End cable options are also available.
