The Idem 136020 WMC coded non-contact switch is an 8way model with 2NC 1NO, QC M12 connectors. Made of Stainless Steel 316, this switch is designed for non-contact guard door interlocking in food processing, pharmaceutical, packaging, and petro-chemical industries. It is suitable for CIP and SIP cleaning, can withstand high pressure hosing at high temperatures (IP69K), and has a wide 14mm sensing range with high tolerance to misalignment. The mirror polished finish to RA4 and adherence to EHEDG guidelines for hygienic design make it suitable for use in environments requiring high levels of cleaning. Various mounting styles are available to cover different levels of food contact as defined by the EHEDG. The switch is designed for easy cleaning in both the direct contact zone and splash zone, with universal 22mm fixing centers and front facing actuation.
