The Idem 404003 RFID coded non-contact switch LP-RFID-U features a sensing distance of 14mm with wide tolerance for guard misalignment and is designed to provide high functional safety and anti-tamper coded activation using magnetic and radio frequency techniques. This switch connects seamlessly to most popular standard safety relays, achieving up to PLe/category 4 compliance in accordance with ISO 13849-1. Housed in high specification plastic, it is suitable for various environments, including those requiring high-pressure cleaning, and offers IP69K ingress protection, making it appropriate for CIP and SIP processes. The LPF-RFID and SPF-RFID switches are available in two types: Type 1 (LPF-M-RFID or SPF-M-RFID) is coded by series, allowing any actuator to operate any switch, while Type 2 (LPF-U-RFID or SPF-U-RFID) features 32,000,000 unique codes for unique activation, ideal for interlocked doors requiring individual area security.
