The Idem 202005HFH KLM Guard Locking Switch-HFH Act(std release) is a 110V, 1/2NPT, Die Cast locking switch designed to provide robust position interlock detection for moving guards and a lock mechanism to keep the guard closed until the hazard has been removed. The tongue-operated switch fits to the leading edge of sliding or hinged machine guards, providing positively operated switching contacts and a tamper-resistant key mechanism. Depending on the risk assessment, it can be used independently to provide positively operated contacts to EN60947-5-1 or in combination with dual channel safety monitoring relays to achieve up to PLe Category 4 to ISO13849-1 or SIL3 EN62061. Available in various materials and housing styles, the switch features 8 actuator entry positions, rotatable head, 2 lock monitoring safety contacts, high holding force of 2000N, LED diagnostics, 2 emergency manual release points, IP67 rating, and dimensions of 46mm wide, 176mm long, and 30mm fixing, making it suitable for applications in factory automation, packaging, food processing, pharmaceutical, and petro-chemical industries.
