The Idem 139008 SMC coded non-contact switch with LED features 8-way, 2NC 1NO configuration and QC M12 connection. Part of the Stainless Steel 316 Hygiecode range, it is specifically designed for non-contact guard door interlocking in food processing, pharmaceutical, packaging, and petro-chemical industries. Constructed from Stainless Steel 316, it is suitable for CIP and SIP cleaning, with the ability to withstand high-pressure hosing at high temperatures (IP69K). The switch offers a wide 14mm sensing range with high tolerance to misalignment, a mirror polished finish to RA4, and can be mounted on steel structures. Designed in accordance with EHEDG guidelines for hygienic design, it can be used in environments subject to high levels of cleaning following contamination from foreign particles. Available with various mounting styles to cover different levels of food contact, the switch is designed for direct contact and splash zones, meeting stringent cleanliness requirements for the food industry. Universal 22mm fixing centers make it suitable for use in food splash zones.
