All IDEM coded non-contact safety switches are designed for compliance with EN60947-5-3 and are intended for use according to ISO12100, ISO14121, and EN60204-1 standards. These switches feature coded magnetic sensing, which provides a wide sensing distance of up to 14mm and accommodates high tolerance to misalignment after sensing. They are capable of being installed behind stainless steel fittings and function effectively from four directions, even in extreme temperature and moisture environments. When paired with most dual channel safety monitoring relays, they can achieve up to PL e/Category 4 as per ISO13849-1. The switches are available in high specification plastic or stainless steel 316, and offer dual channel electronic safety output with 2NC and an optional 1NO auxiliary output. Additionally, they include visual LED indication of switch status, are enclosed to IP67 or IP69K ratings for wash down suitability, conform to EN60947-5-3, have no moving parts for enhanced reliability and longevity, and feature a compact slim fitting housing ideal for applications with space restrictions.
