Idem KP interlock switches are designed to provide position interlock detection for moving guards and can be fitted to the leading edge of sliding, hinged, or lift-off machine guards. These switches ensure a forced disconnect of the safety contacts upon the withdrawal of the actuator and feature an anti-tamper mechanism that is not easily defeatable. The head of the switch can be rotated to offer four actuator entry positions. For enhanced durability, flexible actuators and stainless steel head versions are available. Additionally, the contact blocks are replaceable and optional explosion-proof versions are also offered.
