The Stainless Steel 316 HygieMag range is designed for non-contact guard door interlocking in food processing, pharmaceutical, packaging, and petro-chemical industries. Constructed from stainless steel 316, these switches are suitable for CIP and SIP cleaning and can withstand high-pressure hosing at elevated temperatures, with an IP69K rating. They feature a wide 12mm sensing capability with a high tolerance for misalignment and a mirror polished finish to RA4. The housing can be mounted on steel structures in compliance with EHEDG guidelines for hygienic design. The design and surface finish enable use in environments that require high levels of cleanliness after contamination by foreign particles. The switches offer various mounting styles to accommodate different food contact levels as outlined by the EHEDG.
