IDEM magnetic non-contact safety switches are engineered to comply with EN60947-5-3 and can be utilized according to ISO12100, ISO14121, and EN60204-1. These switches utilize magnetic sensing technology that offers a substantial sensing distance greater than 12mm and high tolerance to misalignment, functioning effectively from four directions in extreme temperature and moisture conditions. They feature volt-free high power switching capabilities of either 1A or 2A AC/DC, allowing them to operate independently for low-risk applications or connect to a safety relay for enhanced safety levels. Designed for interlocking hinged, sliding, or removable guard doors, these switches excel in scenarios involving poor guard alignment, hygienic requirements in food industry environments, and high switching capacity demands. When paired with dual-channel safety relays, they can achieve up to PLe/category 4 as per ISO13849-1 standards.
