Idem ES-P and ES-SS standard duty emergency stop switches have been designed to provide robust emergency stop protection for machines or exposed conveyors and are suitable for use within virtually all industry sectors. These switches feature plastic bodies rated at IP67 or stainless steel 316 rated at IP69K. They conform to ISO 13850, EN 60947-5-1, and EN 60947-5-5 standards. A special lid safety trip mechanism ensures that the safety contacts will open if the lid is removed, providing an extra degree of anti-tamper protection. The button protection shroud versions include padlock holes to enable "lock off" in maintenance situations. Additionally, the switches are equipped with 3 pole contact blocks that provide positively operated switch contacts.
