The Hoffman A1086CHQRFGW window cover features dimensions of 10.00x8.00x6.00 inches and is designed as a Type 4X enclosure made from compression-molded fiberglass, which provides outstanding chemical and temperature resistance, as well as excellent weatherability and physical properties. The enclosure includes corner latches for unobstructed access, a continuous hinge for a secure seal, and double latching for added security. It is equipped with a gasket that ensures a water-tight and dust-tight seal, as well as polyester mounting brackets and stainless steel attachment screws. The scratch-resistant polycarbonate windows are permanently bonded, and molded-in-place threaded brass inserts with plated steel screws are provided for optional panels and terminal block kits. The removable hinged cover is attached using a Type 316 stainless steel hinge pin, and screw-cover enclosures are secured with two captivated Type 316 stainless steel slotted cover screws. Additionally, enclosures with quick-release latches feature corrosion-resistant polyester latches for enhanced access, while the hinge pin and bail are also made of corrosion-resistant Type 316 stainless steel. Padlock provisions are included in each latch for added security.
