Qline™ enclosures are designed to accommodate larger controls and provide enhanced size-range options along with increased internal mounting flexibility compared to smaller Qline products. The enclosures feature contoured bodies with flush cover screws and are suitable for use in corrosive environments, capable of withstanding occasional submersion. The ABS series serves as a more economical, non-UL rated alternative while sharing similar features and physical properties with the polycarbonate series. The body of the enclosures is constructed from impact-resistant polycarbonate for the PCE series and ABS for the ABE series, with opaque and clear covers made from impact-resistant polycarbonate for the PCE and opaque covers made from ABS for the ABE series. Both polycarbonate and ABS materials can be easily modified by punching, drilling, filing, or sawing. The design includes strong, durable polyamide cross-point flush cover screws and covers that feature a molded-in wire lead hole. Mounting tracks are provided along the body side walls for PC card installation, and molded internal pads facilitate the mounting of optional panels, rails, and other components. A seamless foam-in-place gasket ensures a water-tight and dust-tight seal, and the materials used in construction are halogen-free.
