Qline™ D polycarbonate and ABS enclosures feature contoured bodies with flush cover screws, offering a contemporary appearance while being robust enough for corrosive environments and capable of withstanding occasional submersion. The polycarbonate version (PCD series) is impact-resistant, while the ABS version (ABD series) provides a more economical option that shares similar physical properties but is not UL rated. Both series include opaque and clear covers made from impact-resistant polycarbonate for the PCD series and ABS for the ABD series. The polycarbonate material can be easily punched, drilled, filed, or sawed, and the straight sidewalls allow for the ganging of multiple enclosures. The enclosures are fitted with cross-point captivated cover screws made of stainless steel, and the mounting holes are molded directly adjacent to these screws. The cover screws are protected by removable caps that enhance aesthetics and provide tamper resistance. Molded internal pads are included for mounting optional panels, rails, and other components, with a panel mounting feature available on both the body and cover. A seamless foam-in-place gasket ensures a water-tight and dust-tight seal, and screws are provided for mounting optional panels. Additionally, the materials used are halogen-free.
