The Model 350WBX (AC current) Vibratone® horn generates sound through the electro-mechanical vibration of a stainless steel diaphragm, which is attached to the grille. It features a water- and dust-tight backbox, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. Available in 120 or 240VAC for 50/60Hz, the horn has a sound output level of 100dBA nominal at ten feet (110dBA @ 1 meter). Designed for hazardous locations, it allows for surface, flush, or semi-flush mounting on walls, panels, and in cabinets. The construction includes a die-cast zinc housing with a corrosion-resistant polyurethane finish, and the rugged outer grille is designed to resist vandalism without compromising sound output. The 350WBX is fused and employs a terminal block connection. It is approved for Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D; Class II, Division 2, Groups F and G; and Class III. The horn is capable of producing coded blasts or sustained tones, making it suitable for general alarm, start/dismissal, coded paging, and process control signaling in environments where the sound output exceeds ambient noise levels. Its compact size and various installation options are ideal for institutional use. Additionally, it is UL and cUL listed and CSA certified, accompanied by a 5-year limited warranty.
