The Federal Signal model LP4 low profile piezo sounder is a compact multi-tone device with a diameter of 3-2/3 inches, designed for OEM and general alarm applications. This low voltage sounder offers a selection of 28 different tones, which can be switched during installation. Each electrical connection features two terminals for looping in and out, eliminating the need for a separate terminal block. By installing a third wire, a second tone can also be accessed. The sounder operates within a voltage range of 9-28 VDC without requiring adjustments, and its dB output ranges between 82-100 dBA at a distance of 10 feet (92-110 dBA at 1M) based on the selected tone. The volume control allows for a 20 dBA adjustment. It is compatible with PLC systems and boasts a rugged ABS casing for enhanced strength and environmental protection. The device can function in temperatures ranging from -40°F to 176°F (-40°C to 80°C), making it suitable for diverse environments. Its shallow base is designed for flush mount wiring, and the unique twist assembly facilitates easy installation. This product comes with a 5-year limited warranty.
