Ors Tapered Roller Bearings - Metric are separable components consisting of a cone (inner ring) with roller and cage assembly and a cup (outer ring). The bearings can be assembled separately and supplied as matched cup and cone sets. Constructed from AISI 52100 grade steel, these bearings are heat-stabilized to 300°F. The rollers and raceways are optimized for line contact, enabling the bearings to support heavy radial and axial loads, though they can only support axial loads in one direction; thus, a second laterally reversed bearing may be utilized for the axial load in the opposite direction, arranged either "back-to-back" or "face-to-face." A pressed steel cage separates the rollers evenly, resulting in reduced wear and minimal heat generation. These bearings are predominantly utilized in heavy-duty industries, including mining, agriculture, construction, automotive axles, gearboxes, and conveyor systems.
