Ors Tapered Roller Bearings - Metric are separable bearings consisting of a cone (inner ring) with roller and cage assembly and a cup (outer ring). The bearings can be assembled separately and supplied as matched cup and cone sets. Made of AISI 52100 grade steel and heat-stabilized to 300°F, these bearings feature rollers and raceways optimized for line contact, enabling them to carry heavy radial and axial loads. They can only support axial loads in one direction, so a second laterally reversed bearing may be employed for axial loads in the opposite direction, suitable for either "back-to-back" or "face-to-face" arrangements. The pressed steel cage effectively separates the rollers to reduce wear and minimal heat generation. Common applications include mining, agriculture, construction, automotive axles, gearboxes, and conveyor systems in heavy-duty industries.
