Ors tapered roller bearings - metric are designed as separable components, consisting of a cone (inner ring) with roller and cage assembly and a cup (outer ring), allowing for separate assembly and offering matched cup and cone sets. Constructed from AISI 52100 grade steel and heat-stabilized to 300°F, these bearings feature rollers and raceways optimized for line contact, enabling them to bear heavy radial and axial loads. It is important to note that these bearings can support axial loads in only one direction; therefore, a second laterally reversed bearing is recommended for opposing axial loads, which can be configured in either a "back-to-back" or "face-to-face" arrangement. The pressed steel cage ensures even separation of the rollers to minimize wear and heat generation. These bearings find applications in heavy-duty industries such as mining, agriculture, construction, automotive axles, gearboxes, and conveyor systems.
