Ors Tapered Roller Bearings - Metric are separable bearings consisting of a cone (inner ring) with a roller and cage assembly and a cup (outer ring). These bearings can be assembled separately and supplied as matched cup and cone sets. Constructed from AISI 52100 grade steel and heat-stabilized to 300°F, the rollers and raceways are optimized for line contact, enabling the bearing to carry heavy radial and axial loads. These bearings support axial loads in one direction only, requiring a second laterally reversed bearing for axial loads in the opposite direction, which can be arranged in either a "back-to-back" or "face-to-face" configuration. The pressed steel cage effectively separates the rollers to enhance wear properties and minimize heat generation. They are primarily utilized in mining, agriculture, construction, automotive axles, gearboxes, and conveyor systems within heavy-duty industries.
