3M™ cloth narrow belt 707E is constructed with a blend of 3M™ ceramic abrasive grain and premium aluminum oxide on a flexible JE-weight rayon cloth backing measuring 1" x 42", providing enhanced durability and cutting efficiency for use on stainless steel, cobalt chrome, titanium, and carbon steel. The belt is suitable for dimensioning parts, deburring, blending, and scratch refinement on castings and forgings, and can be used wet or dry. It features a grinding aid to reduce running temperatures, protecting heat-sensitive alloys like stainless steel, nickel, and cobalt alloys from heat-related stress cracks and discoloration. The abrasive is resin bonded to maintain durability under high heat and pressure. The ceramic-aluminum oxide abrasive grain blend is engineered for faster cutting, handling intense heat and stress, offering superior cut-rate and durability compared to aluminum oxide alone, making it ideal for moderate to heavy stock removal and surface preparation. The belt is compatible with various belt sanding tools and industrial belt sanders, with wider belts designed for flat finishing to smooth rough cut edges of metal. Warranty terms apply.
