Recommended for wide belt sanding, edge sanding, or portable belt sanding, this belt features fast-cutting aluminum oxide abrasive grains that are resin-bonded to a robust cotton cloth backing, ensuring a continuous cut and extended life. The open coat and load-resistant coating make it particularly well-suited for sanding soft woods, while the washable backing accommodates high production environments where cleaning is necessary to eliminate resin or pitch buildup. Aluminum oxide is favored by industrial professionals due to its excellent cut-rate, durability, and longevity, making it adaptable for a wide range of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.
