The 3M™ cloth belt 361F measures 6" x 90" and features fast-cutting aluminum oxide abrasive grains bonded to a heavy polyester cloth backing. It includes a durable, heat-resistant resin that supports both wet and dry applications. Grades of P100 and lower are backed with YF-weight polyester, while grades higher than P100 use slightly less stiff XF-weight polyester. The aluminum oxide mineral offers a balance of cut-rate, durability, and long life, suitable for woodworking and metalworking on a variety of materials including ferrous alloys. Abrasive particles are adhered to the cloth backing with resin, creating a strong bond that withstands high heat and pressure. These abrasive belts come in various widths and lengths and fit many industrial belt sanding tools; wider belts are for wide belt sanders used in flat finishing or adding grain patterns to metal sheets, medium-width belts are used on backstands or feed-thru style flat finishers for weld removal and finishing sheets or coils, and narrow belts serve for grinding and finishing in right-angle corners. The primary applications of the 3M™ cloth belt 361F are metalworking. The product comes with a standard warranty as specified by 3M.
